Volunteer for the Dolores River Willow Planting project February 25-28

Help restore native vegetation along the Dolores River, south of Gateway, CO. We will harvest and plant willow trees in areas cleared of tamarisk.

  • Learn how to identify, cut, transport, and plant willows.
  • Spend a fun winter day with other volunteers and enjoy a box lunch courtesy of Gateway Canyons Resort.
  • Experience  the beauty of the Dolores River --  red rocks, riverside plant communities, and maybe even a bald eagle!
